About The Expo
About the Euro-Asia Economic Forum
The Euro-Asia Economic Forum is a high-level open international conference approved by the State Council and guided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. With members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization as the mainstay, it is open to the vast Eurasian region. The Forum has been held for nine sessions since its establishment in 2005, and this year will see its tenth session. The 2023 Euro-Asia Economic Forum will adhere to the purpose of "serving the 'Belt and Road' initiative, economic and trade cooperation and people to people exchanges of SCO countries, and establishing the new pattern of the Great Western Development Strategy in the new era", deeply tap the effect of China-Central Asia Summit, actively implement Xi'an Declaration and other achievements, and strive to build an open platform on higher level. Under the framework of the Forum, 2023 EAEF Economic & Trade Cooperation Expo and China (Shaanxi) lmport & Export Commodities Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as "The Expo”) will be held.
Overview of the Expo
The Expo will be held in September at the Xi'an lnternational Convention & Exhibition Center in the same term with the Forum. The Expo, with the theme of “Create Opportunities for Cooperation and Seek Future Development", is hosted by the Organizing Committee of the Euro-Asia Economic Forum and organized by the Xi'an Municipal People's Government and the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Commerce. lts seven major sections are for the five countries of Central Asia, including international competitive products, high-end manufacturing, cross border E-commerce, green energy, foreign trade and emerging industries. The exhibition area is planned to be 72,000 square meters, and economic and trade negotiations, symposiums, cultural salons, etc. will be organized.
